The Village Church Underground Youth Group At the Village Church we call our youth group “Underground Youth.” The name was created by a few of our youth because the youth room is in the basement of the church. Our goal is to help youth focus on Christ by teaching them how to build a solid relationship with Him through prayer and the Bible. We equip them to learn from the Word of God so they can be leaders in their schools by living for God. We also encourage them to bring friends to church, in order to spread the gospel of Christ. By bringing friends, we believe that youth growing together will be stronger.
	Underground youth leadership is focused on aiming youth towards Christ in all they do. We have a team of youth leaders who rotate speaking to the youth each week. This keeps the messages fresh and our youth looking forward to see who is speaking the following Wednesday night. We have a poetry corner/comedy corner in the youth room that gives the youth a few minutes to express themselves in front of their peers each week. We strive to make it a fun atmosphere with games, pastor’s awards, and snacks after service.
